Questions
Do my customers need an app?
No. The card lives in Apple Wallet on iPhone and Google Wallet on Android, which are already on their phone. They tap the sticker or scan the code, then press Add.
Nobody here uses loyalty cards. Will my customers get it?
That is the point of being first. There is nothing to learn: they tap the sticker, press Add, and the card shows how many stamps are left. If they have ever added a boarding pass or a bank card to their phone, they already know how.
What if they pay cash?
Nothing changes. A stamp is one visit, not a receipt, so it works the same with dollars, lira or a card, and there is no POS to connect.
What about Android phones?
Android phones get the same card in Google Wallet. It works the same way: tap, add, collect stamps.
What if a phone has no NFC?
Every counter stand also has a QR code. Scanning it with the camera opens the same card.
How do I add a stamp?
Open the Kartak dashboard on your phone and scan the code on the customer's card. The stamp shows up on their card a few seconds later. Any phone at the counter can do it.
Can I send offers to my customers?
Yes. Write a short message in the dashboard and it appears on their lock screen, at no extra cost. Google limits how many a card can get in a day; we suggest one offer a week, so people keep the card.
What does it cost?
$39 a month for each branch. Setup is $69, and free for the first 10 shops. Pay for a year and you get 2 months free.
I have several branches and waiters. Does it still work?
Yes. One card works in every branch, and each branch is $39 a month. Waiters and baristas get their own staff login that can scan and stamp but cannot see your numbers. The whole loop page shows how it runs for restaurants and chains.
Can the card be in Arabic?
Yes. The card and your messages can be in Arabic, English or both, and you choose what your customers see.
